If you have the time/budget to visit only one place at Krate on the Grove, you owe it to yourself to check out Flipn’ Fries Factory! Their menu is simple & very easy to order. I am a huge fan of the Kratewalker because I like all the protein options it offers, but no matter what you select, you will be pleasantly pleased. Every dish is hot and appetizing, & filled with flavor. It is definitely a frequent visit for all the locals.
Taking some time to unwind and get away from the daily work grind. This time we decided to check in at The Grove’s Trunk or Treat Car Show and to grab some grub, of course There are a lot of choices in the Grove to chose from, but while researching the eateries from home, I kept coming back to this place. Something about Jerk Chicken atop french fries just kept calling my name. As it turned out, my brain and gut were spot on for this choice. I ordered the #4 Flipn. Jerk (large) and she had the #5 BBQ Bacon Ranch (small). Note to self, get the small next time...wow that was a lot of food! Good food? No...GREAT FOOD! Portions are plentiful. Flavors are out of this world. That Jerk Chicken kinda gets you in the boo boo, but not much. Just right! I tasted her BBQ and it was outstanding as well. So many other places to try here in the Grove, going to be hard to go other places, as this pone was so darn good!
Maybe not the meal we needed but it was sure the meal we wanted. Don’t bother if you’re not into fried stuff with flavor. Or cheese or bbq sauce. But if you want some comfort food you never knew was yours come check this place out. We got a full order and a half order and took home the half. Ordered extra sauce but didn’t need it. We got the full order of the buffalo fries. With fried chicken bits, bbq sauce, cheese, and some ranch dressing. Enjoyed it very much. The weird part was I didn’t need a nap an hour after eating it. A very good small space with a few nice places to sit inside. Especially if it’s a hot day. Come and check out these guys. They work hard and make good food. Service was spot on as well.
I got the Kratewalker fries and the BBQ Bacon Ranch. Both were delicious. I recommend this place if you love loaded fries.
Insanely delicious options. I got the a small order of the BBQ, Bacon-Ranch fries and was extremely surprised and impressed by how flavorful it was. My wife and daughters each ordered their own small as well and they all loved what they ordered (Regular Bacon Cheese & Carne Asada). We left stuffed and Happy. Definitely worth a try if you're at Krate or ordering nearby.
Really great experience. Food was outstanding and the people there are so nice, you can tell they take great pride in the business they're building. Our first time there, we had the Kratewalker and the BBQ Bacon Ranch. These are way beyond 'loaded fries' these are legitimate meals with lots meat, cheese and sauces. My only thought would I wish they had Salchipapas (not the kids version), no doubt they would be outstanding. Nice people, great food, highly recommended.

I opted for the shrimp steak fries with extra garlic sauce and a drink, and I was not disappointed—the food was outstanding. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with stunning African artwork, adding a vibrant and cultural touch to the ambiance. Additionally, the walls feature unique signatures from past customers, creating a sense of community and connection. I must also commend the cleanliness of the establishment. It was evident that maintaining a pristine environment is a priority for the staff, which added to the overall pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend Flip n Fries for both the exceptional food and the welcoming atmosphere.
I just start working out here and seen this place so I thought I’d give it a try.i got the Kratewalker! Food was sooo good! Customer service was ehhhh but I’ll definitely be back
